We recommend staying in CBD, the Warehouse District or the east side of the Garden District for easiest access to wedding events; there are a variety of hotels at every price point. We also love Marigny and Bywater for a more local vibe.

April in New Orleans is typically the nicest time of year, with daytime in the mid-70s and nights in the low-60s.
New Orleans is one of our favorite places and we’re excited for you to get to know its charm, but as in any major city, it’s important to be aware of safety. The French Quarter, Warehouse District, and Garden District are relatively safe, but we recommend traveling in groups, avoiding poorly lit areas, and staying aware of your surroundings.
